Pennsylvania's museum of railroad history, with exhibits of over 100
locomotives and railcars, uniforms, art work, tools and other artifacts
from 1825-present. Special programs for holidays and other events,
archives, railway education center, outdoor restoration yard and turntable. Tours,
hands-on learning.

Extensive display of toy trains from 1800's to today. Five interactive operating
layouts. Continuous train-related videos. Headquarters of the Train
Collectors Association.

Both of these museums hold international
recongition as possessing unique and professionally presented collections.
In fact, Strasburg
is a national train mecca, with the Strasburg Rail Road near to both
these museums, offering visitors an opportunity to take a train ride
and see real steam operations. Other train attractions are also nearby.

The Pennsylvania Trail of History
consists of twenty six sites throughout the Commonwealth,
operated by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
