The museum is located in a Greek Revival style mansion built by Clement Grubb in 1845-46. The museum's programs focus on exhibitions of contemporary art by regional and national artists.

Home and studio of American modernist Charles Demuth (1883-1935). Permanent collection of Demuth’s art, changing exhibits and events. Museum is surrounded by Demuth’s mother’s garden and the historic Lancaster architecture that inspired him.

Tuesday-Friday: 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday: 12:30-4:30 p.m. Closed Mondays, holidays, Fall Break (Oct. 13-18), and Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 21-27).
Located in a facility designed by the internationally known architect Minoru Yamasaki.

The Museum houses three distinct, yet interconnected exhibition spaces--the Dana, Rothman and Curriculum Galleries. Art by distinguished artists, exhibits change.
